TSSAA State Championship sites - The TSSAA voted last week to accept the bid of Cookeville to host the 2009 and 2010 state championship games at Tennessee Tech University.

2009 Summer Dead Period - The 2009 dead period has begun and will run through Sunday, July 5th.

2009 KFL Jamboree - The 2009 Jamboree schedule has been released. The Jamboree returns to Neyland Stadium on August 14th after a 2 year hiatus. Gibbs takes on Central in the 9th of 10 periods. Click here for the full schedule.

Eagles New Home & Away Uniforms

Gibbs will be playing in new uniforms for the 2009 season. While the Eagles new uniforms include the Columbia Blue and black accents, the new uniforms incorporate the return of some old features plus a couple of new ones.

The Gibbs wordmark returns to the front of the Eagles home and away jerseys. This feature was used during the 1990's into the early 2000's.

The new blue jerseys have white numbers and Gibbs wordmark outlined in black. UCLA style shoulder striping has been removed.

TV numbers have been moved from the side to the top of the shoulderpad on both jerseys.

Gibbs will using the NFL style sock with the contrasting Columbia Blue top and white bottom.

The new white pants have the Denver Broncos striping pattern. This pattern ties into the new white jerseys that have a blue strip down the side.

The new white jerseys include a shoulder striping similar to the UCLA style the  Eagles have worn in previous seasons.
